August 2, 2010

While the staff and company is on summer vacation hiatus I thought I would take time to jot down my thoughts for this issue and upcoming issues of Woman2Woman Business.  The 2010 Summer edition came together with many new writers and several of your favorites.  The quest for new contributing writers is at the forefront of W2WB and what sets it apart from other publications.  We like to feature regular columnists, but we are looking for that aspiring writer that has something to say with a new twist.  Want to write for W2WB?  Go to our Editorial Submissions page to find out how.

When I started Woman2Woman Business magazine I wanted it to become the businesswoman's go to guide for anything to do with business, entrepreneurship, know-how and inspiration.  The magazine has surpassed my expectations and gets better with each issue.  I have been surrounded by talented and progressive women and men that contribute daily to make W2WB spectacular.

We have all watched as the W2WBnetwork was launched from our fast growing Woman2Woman Business group on the Linkedin network.  The W2WBnetwork will add new Chapters every quarter.  For detailed information about the W2WBnetwork visit the W2WBnetwork page.

This issue features the writings of Wendy Y Bailey; Jeffrey Bruce; Nickole Byrd; Sheri A. Callahan; Kimberly Douglas; Dawn Enstruthe; Dr. Sheila Forman; Melissa Galt; Ada Gonzalez; Patricia Green; Amanda Guralski; John Hardy; Lila Havens; Colin Heaney; Patricia A. Jones; Nona Jordan; Karen R. Vowell-Mager; Paul Morand; Susan Placek; Paula Pollock; George Purdy; Corte Swearingen; Lauren Tracy; Nancy Treaster; J. Steve White; and Jennifer Tuma-Young.  Additional contributors and source information was provided by Verint Witness Actionable Solution; Isnare.com; MyOptumHealth.com; PopularArticles.com; Tanyarelf.info.com; Susannah Williams; K. Lamb; Gina Miller; G. Bennett; and Penny Vargas.

The next issue coming up is our combined Fall/Holiday issue.  Do not miss an opportunity to promote your business through an ad in this special issue.  For more opportunities for business promotion through articles and advertisements at substantial discounts check out our PR CLUB on this website.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed and helped to grow the W2WB brand.

July 5, 2009

Hello readers of W2WB magazine.  We have come to the conclusion that blogging every week can be very time consuming and with the daily running of a magazine our blogs cannot be weekly updated.  In an effort to keep our postings fresh and interesting, we will only post when we have something new to share.

We have published the JULY/AUGUSTS issue of W2WB - go to our View Magazine page here on this site, or if you are reading this on the internet then go to: http://www.woman2womanbusiness.com/VIEW___MAGAZINE.html    This issue is full of surprises and information that will continue to motivate you to achieve your goals in business and to strive to be all you can be in your personal life, too.

We feature several new writers with valid points of view that we hope will inspire you as you read a small segment of their journey.  Our business profiles have been heightened with the introduction of PACE SETTERS, our newest business profile, featured in the front of the magazine.

Our Business Illuminate feature showcases two spectacular women this issue: Susie Coelho and Martha Zoller.  Both women are from different fields of the entertainment industry; one is a design guru who has built an impressive empire that helps promote her design point of view, while helping women at the same time; the other is a radio talk show host that is not afraid to speak her mind and offers a solid and firm outlook on today's issues.

You will see some familiar faces in our writers group, but a few new faces have emerged this issue as well.  Young and seasoned, you will find every age represented in W2WB magazine.  After all - this is YOUR business magazine.  Enjoy and make sure to give us your feedback.  Go to the bottom of this section and post your comment or ideas for future articles.

May 11, 2009

It has been awhile since our last blog update on the W2WB website.  A lot has happened since March.  We have changed back to a bi-monthly magazine and now are completely digital as witnessed in our new "flip" format.  (Go to the View Magazine page to get a good look.)  The only exception to being completely digital is our year end, W2WB Annual Report that features a compilation of the year's best stories, articles and the long anticipated announcement of the "WOMAN OF THE YEAR" for 2009 from our 2009 Woman of the Month recipients.

We have continued to grow due to our loyal audience and word of mouth, additional growth comes from our strategic marketing done by a superb team of marketing specialists.  Our staff goes beyond the call of duty to make each issue better than the last.

Our writer network has become one of the best with new talent stepping on board every day.  And how about those featured columnists that share new ideas and information each issue that inspire us all.

The advertisers small and large, help make the magazine available to women across the country and around the world by their support through ads placed within the magazine.  By our connections through Linkedin, Facebook, Savor the Success, Twitter and many other social/business networking groups the word has spread about Woman2Woman Business magazine.

Let us not forget the most important part of all - YOU our readers!  Without your continued support and following Woman2Woman Business magazine would not be where we are today!  Thank you for making the past year and a half one of the best.  We appreciate you and we hope it shows!

Yours Truly,

Janet Arnwine - Publisher

March 4, 2009

The new issue is finally here.  Our March/April edition is filled with new stories and helpful advice.  Make sure to check out the TWO "Woman of the Month" features.  Both ladies, Katie Johnson our  March Woman of the Month, and Jordan Veatch-Goffi our April Woman of the Month are fascinating and brilliant.  Find out more about their innovative business ideas that are getting them noticed!

Our Business Illuminate features a woman you might have already heard about - Leyla Hur.  She has one inspiring story to tell.

We have several marketing advice columns, one from Paula Pollack and one from Cher Murphy.  We are fortunate to have both women contributing to W2WB magazine.

As always - our featured columnist are back with more sound advice to keep your business engines running smoothly.  Kate Sanner and Melissa Galt have written two very different articles, but both have knowlegable information that is a must read.  MaryPat Kavanagh and Wendy Y Bailey are taking a little break this issue, but look for them to be back in the May/June editon.

New contributors to the magazine are added every issue and we are happy to see new faces, like Paula and Cher.  We continue to work with other business networks to promote Woman2Woman Business magazine.  Such as:  LinkedIn; Savor the Success; Link Atlanta; Twitter; Spoke; Start-Up Biz; Konnects; Fast Pitch; XING and many more.

Thanks for making W2WB magazine the business connection for women across America and around the world.

We update you on new information to do with the magazine, but today we want to share our Thought for the week

"Be honest and sincere, don't complain or criticize.  Be interesting and interested.  Listen, listen and did I say listen.  We miss so much by over talking and talking over.  Sometimes take an opportunity when in a group to listen only and interject seldom.  You will learn so much!  Remember to share your ideas and to always be a good student and a mindful teacher.  Go out and conquer the day!"

February 12, 2009

Great week thus far.  I had the opportunity last week to meet an interesting business owner that works with sales people to design effective strategies for them individually and as a team.  Stephen Cadley of Cadley Consulting Group specializes in helping crystallize your sales performance and enhance your social media consulting.  His ideas are based in some tried and true methods, but he has the vision to incorporate some new ideas that have made his business soar.  The people that he consults with will benefit from his brilliant guidance and insightful teaching, going on to make their mark in the business arena.

If you have a choice to soar or to coast - I hope you choose to soar!

The new issue is here and what a great read is in store for all of you.  We could not do this magazine without the many people that help to put it together.  The writers, the editorial staff, the graphic design team and the support team.  Each and everyone of you helps to make this magazine the guide to help businesswomen everywhere.  We are growing and as we do we experience a few growing pains here and there.  Be patient with us and we will answer all of your queries and get back to you shortly.  We appreciate your continued support and we will do our best to not disappoint.  Stay tuned for more to come!

January 26, 2009

The new issue will be on line in a matter of days.  In the February edition of W2WB the next Woman of the Month has a real interesting background and the product she created is helping to save lives.  Our Business Illuminate feature follows the life of one really amazing businesswoman in a relatively male driven business environment.  We continue with our entertainment section featuring two women that are making their mark.  The social/business networking is becoming a large part of how we do business today and we have several articles on how to do it right.

The next few weeks I am looking for writers that have something to say and have a unique perspective.  Go to our Submit Editorial page and send me a prospectus of your work and why you would like to write for W2WB magazine.  We have so many talented women contributing already, but I know there are more of you out there that we haven't had the chance to meet.  Have a week that is filled with possibilities!

Yours Truly,

Janet Arnwine - Publisher

January 19, 2009

What a week, reading new story by unpublished author - very intriguing.  Perhaps we will introduce an Authors section in the magazine.  Give unknown talent the chance to be heard.  It seems it is harder than ever for new authors to get published and get their message or stories out there.

I have been working on some new brain storms for additional sections to the magazine.  We introduced the Entertainment section in January and it was well received.  It will become a mainstay in the magazine.  If you have ideas for us, please write in.  Go to our contact page and leave your thoughts or sign in below.  We want to know what you are thinking.  Remember, this is your business magazine after all.

We like to give back, so take a moment to be thankful for what you have and where you are going in your life and business.  My sales team came up with the idea to present a special savings to our current advertisers and to you that are new to Woman2Woman Business magazine.  The new savings promotion is called the SPARTAN RESERVE AD PROGRAM.  This program offers you several ways to save hundreds of dollars in this economical roller coaster.  Take a look and get in touch - we are here to help you!

Go out and enjoy the day - be productive and be your best!

Yours Truly,

Janet Arnwine - Publisher

January 9, 2009

Another week has come to an end.  The editorial contributions continue to grow.  We could not do the magazine without people like Wendy Y Bailey, Melissa Galt, Kate Sanner, MaryPat Kavanagh, Roger Reak, Ted Richardson, Bill Allen just to name a few.

Personally I am thrilled to be able to offer you our readers a place to share your knowledge or to find out something new that you did not know.  The magazine builds on the philosophy that through our connecting, we are helping each other build something pretty wonderful.  To see each and everyone of you grow your business and your own belief in your dreams is truly rewarding.  Join our network and send in your comments, we will print them in our weekly blog.

Thanks for all your support and continued contributions to make W2WB the best that it can be!

Yours Truly,

Janet Arnwine - Publisher
